ars technica: Developers expect iOS and Mac OS to merge over time

I speculated a couple months about a slow iPad UI creep into the MacBook. Noticed an interesting article over at Ars Technica on evolving developer attitudes towards a possible blending of iOS & MacOS..
" Specifically, the developers were hoping that iOS's UIKit could supplant Mac OS X's AppKit APIs. Brichter said that UIKit was already influencing the design of Mac OS X apps, and revealed that he was busy writing his own desktop implementation of UIKit to help build the long-anticipated Tweetie for Mac 2. "I'll open it up [to other developers] if the code isn't too embarrassing," he said. "

    Facebook also has a lot of privacy settings and in these settings the other people cannot able to do a lot of things in their life. I feel that these things are always beneficial for all the people because in this way the people can feel safe and secured.
